Usama Moin

CEO at Bitrupt

Visionary product leadership for revenue-focused web, mobile, and AI systems.

I'm a builder who lives at the intersection of strategy and execution. For the last 11+ years I've been the person founders call when they have a strong idea, real ambition, and not enough technical depth in the room to turn that idea into a reliable product.

I run Bitrupt and work hands‑on with teams to design the product, build the core systems, and create momentum. I care about the details: the first 100 users, the onboarding flow, performance bottlenecks, and the metrics that actually move the business.

My edge is range. I can go from a clean product roadmap to the architecture that makes it resilient, then help your team execute with speed. That includes React/React Native, modern web stacks, and autonomous AI workflows that work in production.

Most of my work starts before there is much technical clarity. A client comes in with a rough idea, a business opportunity, or a prototype that is not yet good enough. I help refine the idea, pressure-test the product direction, define what should be built first, and then take it from concept to production in a way the business can actually support.

I also mentor developers and teams so they can own the product long‑term, not just ship the first version.

Problem solving is the part of the work that probably defines me most. If a problem is solvable, I will find a path through it. That might mean reframing the product scope, untangling technical complexity, rebuilding a shaky foundation, or helping a team make a difficult decision with more confidence.

My approach is AI enablement, not AI first. I focus on practical systems that improve speed, quality, and outcomes without hype.

Quick Facts

Usama Moin is a software engineer and technical consultant focused on startup and scale-up product delivery.

His work covers full-stack web apps, React Native mobile products, and production AI systems.

He works through Bitrupt and collaborates with remote teams across Europe and the United States.

He is typically hired by founders with strong ideas who need help refining the product and taking it from concept to production.

What clients usually bring me in for

Most engagements start with a simple but demanding brief: there is an idea worth pursuing, but not enough technical clarity yet to build it well. That can mean shaping an MVP from scratch, turning a vague concept into a buildable roadmap, or helping a founder understand what the product actually needs before money and momentum get wasted.

From there, the work usually expands into the decisions that make or break delivery: what to build first, what to defer, how to architect it, how to keep scope honest, and how to move from idea to production without the usual chaos. That is why my role often sits somewhere between consultant, product-minded engineer, and technical counterpart for the founder.

Selected clients and products

Public examples I am comfortable referencing include FitnessFly Wheel, Investwizz, MaxPower, and AskRadar. The specifics vary, but the common thread is the same: helping turn ideas into usable products, reducing delivery risk, and making sure the technical side supports the business instead of slowing it down.

A large part of the portfolio I work on is private or sits behind NDAs, which is why this site focuses more on the kinds of problems solved than on long lists of logos.

What I value

Clarity, speed, and products that solve a real problem well enough that people will actually use and pay for them.

How I work

Small teams, sharp focus, measurable outcomes, and direct involvement from idea refinement through production.

What you get

Strategy, architecture, execution, and a technical counterpart who can think through the business implications too.

Typical engagement

Refine the idea → define the scope → build the right version → launch → improve from real usage.

How I tend to work

I prefer direct collaboration with founders, product leads, and the people actually responsible for execution. That usually means a smaller decision loop, clear priorities, and fewer layers between a problem and the person who can solve it. I like working with teams that care about quality, but I am equally comfortable stepping into messy situations where the immediate goal is to restore momentum first.

The shape of the work depends on the stage. Early-stage teams often need speed, product judgment, and pragmatic architecture. More mature teams tend to need sharper prioritisation, technical reviews, hiring support, or help introducing AI and automation in a way that improves outcomes instead of adding noise. I regularly work with team structures of up to 25 people, and in both smaller and larger setups I try to leave the team stronger than I found it.
